In Alegria, we have a beautiful tradition of coming together in meditation to honor the Solstice and Equinox. As the seasons shift, we gather to walk one of our labyrinths in quiet reflection, connecting with the land, ourselves, and each other.
We invite you to join us in this sacred practice. As you prepare, consider bringing a poem to share or a small offering from nature to leave in gratitude—perhaps a flower, a stone, or a heartfelt intention.
Let’s walk in harmony, welcoming the changes within and around us.

Tomorrow you are welcome to join a casual Spring Equinox Walk on the Los Altos Labyrinth. We will start up the trail promptly at 8 am and conclude by 9:30 am. We have traditionally brought a nature offering for the center, ....fruit, rock, leaf, flower.

Saturday, December 21st at 8 am Location : The Lower Labyrinth across from the Sports Park.
Bring a nature offering ( fruit, stone, flower ) And any readings or music to share.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, day and night will be nearly equal in length as Earth spins side-on to the sun and autumn officially begins in the Northern Hemisphere.
We have started a tradition in Alegria to walk together in meditation on Solstice and Equinox..
This year's Autumnal Equinox Walk will be to the Los Altos Labyrinth. We will meet at the roadside entrance at 8 am on Sunday, the 22nd (location landmarks will be sent in the reminder later this week). The trail is in good condition and the maintenance staff will have time to clean the labyrinth. This trail to the labyrinth is about a 15 minute walk through the forest, uphill, a few turns and wet at some places.
Be thinking of a poem you may want to share or a nature offering to leave in this sacred Alegria space.

2nd Annual Summer Solstice Labyrinth Walk🌞🌀 Update A huge thank you to the Farm team and @~Eber VL for making the sports park labyrinth clear, beautiful and full of magic! Sending deep gratitude to Chris, Makai, Samantha and Hunter for adding the final tidy touches with me this morning. 🙌 💙 🌀
We will gather at the entrance (across from the sports park) at 8 am on Friday, the 21st. Here will be the place of conversation and celebration as we prepare to enter this sacred space in silence. We will have an entrance altar and an altar to leave in gratitude for Mother Earth's Transitions, fruit, rock, leaf. All intentions are encouraged ! 🌀🔆
Please leave your pets at home so that our wild neighbors continue to feel safe in this Alegria labyrinth space. Although the bugs were minimal this morning, prepare as you need. This is a wet, wild place so also be mindful of your footwear and where you step.
