At Alegría Tai Chi, we focus on the Yang Style 24 Tai Chi Form, a graceful and meditative martial art that promotes balance, flexibility, and inner strength.
What You Will Learn
Training includes:
- Yang Style 24 Tai Chi – A traditional Tai Chi form emphasizing flow, relaxation, and mindfulness.
- Kajukenbo – A complementary practice focusing on self-defense and martial arts techniques.
- Physical, Mental & Spiritual Integration – Developing strength, discipline, and harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
Instructors
Shifu Ari Latharus – Oversees Tai Chi instruction and guides students in mastering the Yang Style 24 Form.
Sejieh Nzinga – Green Belt in Kajukenbo, training under Professor Sonya Richardson, Head Instructor at Hand to Hand Self Defense Center in Emeryville, CA.
- Also a Black Belt in Goshi Shun Taekwondo.
